Visiting Ethnos
What you might expect when visiting an Ethnos gathering

"This is the most welcoming church I have ever been to!"

That is what we have heard from many of our visitors. We highly value community, and welcoming new people into our community.

We want you to feel comfortable when you visit us, so we have provided this description of what to expect.

Our gathering schedule starts at 5:00, but please feel free to come 10-15 minutes early so we can get acquainted.

If you have children, we have child care or classes for ages infant to 5th grade.

When our gathering begins, we start with music, then typically some scripture reading, and a welcome from one of our pastors. We continue usually with more music, then about 10 minutes to socialize, followed by a talk from one of our pastors that lasts about 30 minutes. After the talk, there is a time to process and respond to the message. This time includes music and prayer, and incorporates some interactive stations for people to engage. We do take offering, but as our guest, we don't ask or expect you to give. We do, however, have information cards that you can fill out. We use these cards to be in contact with you, and they are also a way that you can communicate to us how we might pray for you. The gathering ends by 7:00, and often times, several people go out for something to eat afterward.

It is important to note that our gatherings do not always follow the same pattern. We have variations such as our Family Worship gatherings. About every 4-6 weeks, we bring our children in from their classes, and structure our gathering to include them. Sometimes, the talks given by the pastors are more structured to be conversational, and we encourage people to interact. We have a creative team that puts together interactive and atmospheric elements that integrate with the theme or focus of the evening.

We have, and welcome people of all ages in our community. We invite you to come and spend some time with us regardless of your religious, financial, or educational status. We welcome everyone!

So, we hope you will join us this Sunday at our gathering location.
