The cleaning ministry aims to reach out to the community by serving those whohave a need or even a want. Our main goal is to get to know the people in which our church happens to be, as a literal translation of the Bible says to "Make Disciples as you are going."
That being said, we are not a tool for evangelism, but a means to show how a genuine christian community should serve others. We will offer to pray with those whom we are serving, nothing more.
We do kitchen, living room, all common areas, and even sometimes bathrooms (though only invited, for privacy and security issues).
We dust, clean, scrub, sweep, mop, vaccuum, dishes, counters, tables, chairs, shelves and carpet. What ever needs to be done around the house, we are there.
We bring most of our own supplies, we use the persons own vacuum, broom and mop so we don't have to lug those around with us.
